Denham Orthotics and Prosthetics

I am a native of Colorado who moved to the Las Vegas Valley in 1978. After receiving my Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and my Master's from the University of Arizona majoring in Health Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training.

I began my career in rehab. An original partner to Sports Therapy and Arthritis Rehabilitation (1981), I continued to work as an athletic trainer in a physical therapy clinic until late 1999. I began Denham Orthotics and Prosthetics in January of 2000.

My time in Las Vegas has enabled me to interact with many doctors, therapists and insurance companies. I have learned that the patient needs to be heard, particularly in this field. Success is an interaction between the clinician and the patient. I am honored to be able to help the working population, the retired, the recreational athlete, as well as many professionals including the Cirque du Soleil performers and the UNLV athletes. Dave Denham has retired from his career as an athletic trainer. He holds his credential as a certified orthotist from the American Board for Certification for Orthotists and Prosthetists.

I was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, graduating from a local high school. While in high school, I obtained a job at a physical therapy clinic. Here I stayed for 10years, enhancing my interest in the medical profession. While working I attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, graduating with a degree in Athletic Training in 1998. After more time, and patient care in the Physical Therapy world, I decided to return to school to learn the art of Prosthetics. I graduated from California State University of Dominguez Hills in 2002 with a certificate in Prosthetics. I began my career in Detroit, MI where I fulfilled my residency requirements, and became certified in 2004. I since have moved back to Las Vegas to continue my career in Prosthetics.
